Moong dal laddoo : A healthy snacks for kids

Hello everyone

If you are following me on Instagram so you must have seen , a couple of days ago I posted a picture of Moong dal laddoo. And then I got lots of DM for recipe. So I decided to write Moong dal laddoo recipe on my blog post.

I am not a best cook but I’m not bad too , I hope that my recipe will work for you.

Moong dal laddoo can be made in two types. some people like to roast dry moong dal first and then grind but some people like to grind soaked dal first and then roast.

I’m going to use second method here-

Recipe : Moong dal laddoo

Recipe Type : Indian sweet

For 15 to 16 laddoo

Time – 70min

Ingredients :

Moong dal : 200gms

Jaggery : 250gms

Ghee : 200gms

Almond : 50gms

Cashews : 50gms

cardamom : 8-10

Pistachios : 8-10

Method :

• Soak moong dal in water for 3-4 hours . Wash it with water and grind it with mixie.

• Make almonds powder by mixie, cut cashew nuts into small pieces, make Slice of pistachios in length and make cardamom powder too.

• Put ghee in a pan and fry moong dal in a medium low flame until the color of the pulse starts to change, the ghee looks different from the dal and the good smell also starts to come .

• Now dal is ready ( to roast it, will take 25 minutes). Turn off the gas and let it be cool in a bowl .

• When the dal is lightly cooled, add almond powder, chopped cashews, jaggery (You can adjust the amount of jaggery as per your liking’s.) , cardamom powder and turmeric and mix all the ingredients to the best. This mixture has been prepared to make laddoos.

• Take a little mixture in the hands and make small balls of the mixture to make it laddoo and keep it in the plate.

• Garnish laddoos from pistachios. ( Not necessary, if you are making it for your baby )

👉 Put these laddoos in an air tight bins, you can eat them till 20-25 days.

👉 Always check with your doctor before giving any new food to your baby.

👉 Make sure to introduce everything separate to your baby before you try this moong dal ladoo.

Motherhood :

The meaning of being a mother is virtually endless.There are lots of changes happen in every mom’s motherhood journey . There have been many changes with me too that I want to share with you.

I was a bubbly girl but now I’m a responsible Mom . Thanks Ajisth to make me a responsible person.

Motherhood has changed to me from my head to toe. But I love these changes. For me being a Mom is not job and not motherhood is a burden . It’s also a good phase of life. That’s why I’m enjoying motherhood .

So now I am going to share some minor and major points that how motherhood has changed me …

Some minor changes :

• Got stitch on my tummy

• Now I can woke up without alarm

• Now I know how to ready within 10 min .

• Now I love messy bun instead of stylish hairstyle.

• Diaper bag has taken the place of my handbag.

• Now I used to a messy house .I am cleaning 3 or 4 times in a day . Now It is impossible to keep the house clean .

• I loved sleeping too much but now I know how I have to handle everything with only 2 to 3 hours sleep.

• Cartoon network has taken the place of my romantic movies.

• To lead by example , I started healthy eating habits . whereas I love pizza and other junk foods.

Few changes I have written above but I have a long list of changes like this by motherhood. 😄

Some Major changes for lifetime :

Positivity : Before the birth of Ajisth I was slightly negative but now after Ajisth I have a positive outlook. Now I can take a positive decision for me and for my baby without anyone’s help

Patience : As we all knows Patience is the synonyms of Parenting and if you are a Mom you know that your patience is tested every single day. I’m happy that I passed this test. Thanks Ajisth for this lifetime change.

Power : Yes I got more power by motherhood . My son is my power . Now I can do everything with help of my power . Whenever i see my son I think that i am the most lucky person in the world . And now everything would be easy for me with my son .

“STEM LEARNING” – The choice of Smart Parents

Those who know me do not need my introduction but who do not know me , I want to introduce myself to them that now a days I’m a SAHM but before Ajisth was born I was a teacher. To be loyal for as a mom , I left my job but it was my personal choice. I’m not saying that those who are doing job with baby they are not doing good. May be they would be great or better than me but everyone has his own choice and I choosed to be SAHM.

I’m a mom of 1.6 year old baby Ajisth. Teacher by profession and Blogger by passion. I have completed Masters and B.Ed with mathematics. Then I started teaching . As you all know now that I was a teacher so I know the importance of SETM Learning very well. Even I was a STEM student too.

Now a days STEM related carreers are some of the fastest growing and best paid of the 21st century and they often have the greatest potential for job growth. Do you know exactly ,what is stem learning. Ok let me explain first.

STEM stand for science, technology, engineering, mathematics and encompasses a vast array of subject that fall into each of those terms. STEM is not just about maths learning or technology learning but it is a best way to ensure that students are exposed to math, science and technology throughout their educational career. Voice of a Proud C-SECTION Mom…

Hello friends

Today I want to introduce a Proud c-sec mom whose name is Rashmi . Yes I’m talking about myself. And seriously there is no shame in me that I’m a c-sec mom. I’m happy with this label.

When I was pregnant , I used to read book, used to Google and watch the DVDs to know about birthing process. I used to talk to people about this. But I got the same everywhere ” Natural birth is good and c-section is bad.

Seeing and hearing all this , I also felt that my delivery should be natural. But I ended up having a c-section and I saw I had a pretty and healthy baby boy . To be honest that was the best moment of life without any guilty and shame.
